Baked apple recipe

Ingredients

12 apples
3 T. Cornstarch
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 C. Boiling water

Directions

Wash, peel and slice the apples into a large, greased baking dish.
Mix remaining ingredients in a saucepan and cook until almost clear.
Pour over apples and bake in a moderate oven until apples are soft.
Cool and top with whipped topping. Serve as a dessert.
