Coffee Cake recipe                       

Ingredients

1 1/2 T. yeast
1/3 c. warm water
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. oleo
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
two beaten eggs
approximately 4 c. bread flour

Directions

Dissolve the he yeast in the warm water.  He could melt just until hot.  To the melt, and the oleo, salt and sugar.  Beat the eggs and add to the mouth after it is lukewarm, then add the yeast mixture.  Add the flour.  Let rise one hour in a fix and mix bowl.  Work into three pie pans and put crumbs on top.

crumbs:
Combine 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. flour, one tsp. cinnamon and one T. oleo. Let rise again, then bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400�, or until golden brown.  When cool, slice cakes through the middle and add a layer of the filling.  Yield: three coffeecakes.

filling:
Boil together 4 T. white sugar and 4 T. water for about 5 minutes, or until syrupy. Mix 1/2 c. Crisco and 1/2 c. oleo thoroughly. Add 1 egg and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, then add syrup. Stir in 2 to 4 c. powdered sugar.
