4 c. flour                             2 beaten eggs
2 c. sugar                            2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda                          1 T. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt                         1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. shortening
1 c. cocoa
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk
1 c. water

Directions

Cream together sugar, salt, shortening, vanilla and eggs.
Mix together flour soda and cocoa. Add to the first mixture with water and sour milk. More flour may be added if mixture is too thin.
Using 1/4-cup scoop, drop batter on greased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.  Bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees F., or until cookies are firm enough to spring back when pressed lightly at the center.

For the filling beat eggs, sugar and vanilla. Beat in Crisco until smooth. Spread filling between 2 cookies.
